If you have already bought a bunch of those ingredients from him and have them sitting in your inventory (for reasons I can't think of) then you can indeed use any ranch hand to access any ranch basic function. The reason I say that, is because Cooking requires special ingredients that can only be bought from Omi (obviously your Ranch Chef) while you are on the Ranch. Pasture, Breeding, and Defense are the only three that you can efficiently use from any ranch hand. I am in the "Pasture" section in the picture below. From him, or any other ranch hand for that matter, you will be able to access the 4 basic functions of your Ranch (mentioned before). As such I will talk most about the Pasture, Cooking, Breeding, and Defense as I need to.Īfter you get to your Ranch, you will probably find Eren Hunter as the first Hoppalong help that you encounter. Many of the areas in the Ranch say that they are under construction so I'm not sure if that is because my level is too low, I have not completed certain quests to unlock those areas, or it is in fact a new addition to the game. Let the pursuit of obtaining faster, cooler (and archivable) mounts begin!įirst of all, as I just started this game recently, it seems to me that the Ranch area is actually fairly new. At this point again, you can not bring your creature back from the Ranch to the Recording area to finish claiming any rewards you did not before. You get that buff no matter what level of recording you are doing or have done.Īfter you have unlocked the good rewards for your creature, click the "Keep on Ranch" button and send them to your Ranch. If you do record past the 5th time you only receive the passive buff noted as "Observation Notes" for 24 hours.

Now my suggestion is to keep that Dragomon in the Record tab until you have unlocked all the bonuses that you want from that creature. Each creature (and unidentified egg that you get from the vendor) has 5 rewards for "recording" them, and it seems pointless to record them any more than that. The same creature type (Pincerpod, for example) also seems to yield the same rewards for recording them, so don't waste your time (or materials) recording mutiples of the same creature type. So be sure to have a spare mount of that type if you wish to start using that one for breeding or as a Ranch guard for the random invasions that sometimes plague the Ranch.

One important thing to know is that once you take a mount and put it onto the "Record" tab of the Ranch, you can not take it back out and use it as a mount. Special mounts normally have an orange border (there are some exceptions). Normal mounts will havea blue border, and battlemounts normally have a purple border. You have to keep killing those Dragomon until they FINALLY (because I seem to have very, very bad luck) drop an item that says something to the effect of "Raptite Whistle" or saddle. There is no way in the current version of Dragomon Hunter to be able to tame that Dragomon. If you received a Dragomon mount that (usually) has a green border and says "Untamed" after the name, in my book it's useless. You can't forcefully tame any Dragomon, sorry.
